This appears to be an almost word for word remake of a video put out a couple of years ago. So we have references to the mild hybrid powertrain and the three drive modes. But the 2024 updated model (with the badge on the bonnet) has a standard 1lt turbo engine across the range and two drive modes only (no eco mode). All very strange.

ID.3 not available in the US but it seems to be in the size range of the Chevy Bolt EUV. The EUV Premiere model has all the bells and whistles for under $40,000 USD (31,584 pounds). A similarly equipped ID.3 hits over $56,000 USD (45,000 pounds). There are three major differences 247 mile (Bolt) to 326 mile range (ID.3), 50kw vs 170kw charge rate, and the rear suspension extremely cheap on the Bolt! If the ID.3 were to sell in the US I doubt at it's price point anyone would buy it.

Ive got the 2014 model MK3. Its auto, great handling for Mr Sensible types. Prob now is getting parts for & the swingeing prices. 2 new wiper motors fitted at my local garage £1300! A dealership would be even more. £450 ea wiper motor. Not that you can find any, anywhere. I got used ones at half price. My door lock went & waited months to get one. I've found a good honest used parts dealer, he's not a breaker but buys in good tested used parts 6 months guarantee. He's my man from now on. The auto wiper system is awful by Renault & self dimer rear view I hate as I'd rather do it manually.

i just bought a 2005, 1,9tdi 105hp today. i only got it because it was a 1,9tdi. If it was the 2.0tdi i wouldnt had bought it. the 2.0tdi motor is bad compaired to the 1.9tdi. My last 1.9tdi motor drove 587.000km only changing oil when needed. The sprinkler motor didnt work, and thought i needed to take the bumper off, this helped so much cheers!

So nice when they are new but owning one, essentially out of warranty, is an expensive proposition.

1.9 is well underpowered, the gearbox is schizophrenic and the rest of it is just as bad.. bag of sh😀t

The battery management system and user interface improved a lot with the ID7. I would wait until this is also applied to the ID Buzz. The current model is overpriced.

I drove a 530e today while my car was getting a maintenance. Great car, but the seat belts are a problem imo, they always go up with a 'clang' when you release them (I guess you can get used to that), and they tend to make big a rattling noise while driving because by default they get in between the seat and the door. For a car of this class that's just not right.

It's a mish mash half gearted generation. Main drawbacks was that there were not enough Plug-in hybrids sooner!

The Fiat badge is a hero. They saved Ferrari Maserati and Alfa Romeo! So its stupid to think that Fiat is just a cheap car manufacture!

2014 2.0 tdi, automatic, 115k miles full service history and no advisories. Would it be a good buy ?

When will be available in US?

I got 3 of them, a Vector and 2 Aero‘s. I just can‘t change the car! The heating system makes allways problems. With appx. 180T km it beginns with Investments. But it‘s worth! The most comfortable seats of all cars, especially those of the Vector ( fabric/leather).

My Honda Civic hatchback from 2006 (gasoline, executive) never had any issues! No rust at all, magic seats, a lot of space and storage and looks very modern) Still driving this car everyday with a lot of pleasure!

Would I want a little Fiat 500? Sorry!! Not likely at all!! Lovely, certainly, but not quite practical for either camping or as a small camper. The latter is what I’m getting in July in the form of a Vauxhall Combo Life Electric with the Wheelhome Vikenze III camper conversion.
